Outdoor Living in The Colony

The Colony's growth near Grandscape and the Stewart Peninsula side of Lake Lewisville means most of our work there is new construction — a builder hands over a slab and grass, and the entire outdoor living plan gets designed from scratch. That's a different job than renovating an established yard: no old concrete to tear out, no forty-year-old fence to replace, but also no existing grade or drainage pattern to work around.

Designing the whole yard at once

Because the lot is a blank slate, we lay out the kitchen, patio, and any pool decking together before the first shovel goes in the ground — where shade falls in July, how the flagstone or concrete paths tie the yard together, and where drainage needs to move water away from the slab from day one. One crew handling masonry, concrete, and carpentry means the whole yard reads as one design instead of add-ons stacked over the years.
