Pool Installations in The Colony

The Colony grew up along the Lake Lewisville shoreline and then grew again when Grandscape landed, bringing a wave of new construction to go with its Stewart Peninsula lakefront stock. Much of the city's newest housing came with bare-slab backyards that have never held anything but grass.

We didn't stretch to add The Colony; at 24 miles inside Denton County, it was already in the neighborhood our crews drive daily. Shell placement is the one unmovable decision in a pool build: sun path, tree litter, sightlines from the kitchen window, and utility runs all argue about where the water goes. We settle that argument on paper, where changes cost nothing.

The base you never see decides how long a project lasts. Excavation depth, fill selection, compaction passes — the invisible half of pool installations work is where budgets get quietly cut by low bidders, and it's where we refuse to cut ours.

Materials get chosen in person, not from a laminated card. Stone varies pallet to pallet and brick varies run to run, so pool installations selections happen against real samples — you approve what will actually be installed, not a photograph of something like it.

Matching the house matters more than matching a trend. A pool installations addition that picks up your home's brick, stone, and rooflines reads like it was always there; one that ignores them reads like an afterthought no matter what it cost.

Photography can't check plumb, level, or compaction — the qualities that decide how pool installations work performs are exactly the ones a portfolio can't prove. Which is why we'd always rather you walk something we built years ago than scroll something we built last week.
