Outdoor Fireplaces & Fire Pits in Melissa

Melissa sits five miles down US-75 from our shop, close enough that it functions as an extension of home turf — and it's routinely ranked among the fastest-growing cities in Texas. Its subdivisions are new enough that most backyards are still the slab the builder left.

Collin County is core territory for us, and at around 5 miles, Melissa is one of the drives our crews know cold. A fire pit becomes the gravity well of a backyard — people orbit it. Seating walls at the right height and distance, laid in stone that matches the rest of the hardscape, turn a burn ring into the place everyone ends the night.

The base you never see decides how long a project lasts. Excavation depth, fill selection, compaction passes — the invisible half of outdoor fireplaces & fire pits work is where budgets get quietly cut by low bidders, and it's where we refuse to cut ours.

Where a permit applies, we pull it; where an HOA reviews plans, we prepare the packet. Paperwork is part of outdoor fireplaces & fire pits construction whether anyone enjoys it or not, and a contractor who suggests skipping it is volunteering you for the consequences.

Weather windows govern outdoor construction in Texas: pours need temperature ranges, mortar needs cure time, stain needs dry days. We sequence outdoor fireplaces & fire pits work with the forecast instead of against it, which is why our finishes behave.

Homes in our radius run from hundred-year-old farmhouses to houses finished last month, and outdoor fireplaces & fire pits work has to read correctly against both. Matching era is a design skill: what flatters a 1925 brick cottage would look costume on a 2024 build.
