Pool Installations in Gunter

Gunter is a small rail town on the US-75 side of Grayson County, ten miles of open prairie from our shop — a place of older homes, working land, and new country builds arriving one at a time rather than by the subdivision.

We're based 10 or so miles away in Anna, close enough that Grayson County jobs like these get real scheduling priority. Steel schedules and gunite thickness are the pool's skeleton, and they're invisible by week three. We photograph and document the structural stages so the owner owns proof of what's under the plaster.

Water is the first thing we look at on any lot — before sketches, before materials. Where does it come from, where does it sit, where should it go? A pool installations project that ignores drainage becomes a drainage project later, so grading away from the foundation is designed in from the first site walk.

Demolition and haul-off are quoted inside the job, not discovered at the end of it. If existing work has to come out before pool installations construction goes in, that cost and that mess are ours to manage — the site leaves cleaner than we found it.

The measure of pool installations work isn't how it photographs on completion day — nearly anything looks good for a week. It's how the joints, the grade, and the finish are holding at year ten, and that's the standard the work is built against.

Homes in our radius run from hundred-year-old farmhouses to houses finished last month, and pool installations work has to read correctly against both. Matching era is a design skill: what flatters a 1925 brick cottage would look costume on a 2024 build.
